What are short-stay serviced apartments?
A serviced apartment is a great alternative to a hotel. Anyone can walk through the front door with just a suitcase and immediately feel at home, and continue to do so for a period of months or even indefinitely.
To make you feel at home, apartments contain all the essentials you need such as housewares, linens, electrical equipment, TV and telephone, etc. Kitchens are fully fitted and equipped, often with washing machines and dishwashers. Maid service is also available to keep everything tidy.
Are serviced apartments staffed and managed?
Our serviced apartments are all located in managed blocks - they are never single isolated apartments. Most serviced apartment blocks have a formal reception with permanent on-site staff on hand to offer helpful advice as well as to ensure the privacy and safety of residents.
Are serviced apartments conveniently located?
All our apartments are well located in central areas, close to a wide range of shops and other local amenities, and their proximity to local travel links and rail stations makes commuting simple.
Does Citybase Apartments have apartments in my area?

What is the average cost per night of a serviced apartment?
The average cost per night, based on our sales, is approximately £110. This rate, as with all our rates, includes VAT and service and there are no additional costs or fees. As a guide, studio apartments start from £60 per night, one-bedroom apartments start from £80 per night, two-bedroom apartments start from £160 per night, and three-bedroom apartments start from £200 per night.
What is the minimum length of stay in a serviced apartment?
This varies, but the vast majority of our apartments can be booked from as little as just one night. Others specify a minimum stay of 3 nights, or 1 week, 1 month, and in a small number of apartments the minimum is 3 months.
Is booking a serviced apartment a complicated process.
The booking process couldn't be simpler, its like booking a hotel. Apartments can be booked either online via our website or by telephone with one of our helpful account managers. The team at Citybase Apartments have over 5 years experience of dealing with serviced apartments bookings and they make the process as simple as possible for their clients.
Are serviced apartments expensive?
Serviced apartments are a very cost effective option to temporary accommodation needs. Compared to a hotel room of similar standard, a serviced apartment is generally around 30% cheaper - and you get so much more than just a room with a bed in it. Also, the price is always per apartment not per person, so you can accommodate your family or friends at no extra charge.
Are there utility bills to pay on top of the cost of serviced apartments?
All utilities are included in the price, in the same way as they are in hotels. The only extra you pay for is your phone calls (but not line rental).
